Russell Hellhole of the Pacific 2019

Another year, another show. Russell’s annual street-theatre performances depicting the bawdy days of Kororareka of the 1830s played to good crowds over Northland’s Anniversary Weekend.

The cast was strengthened by numerous experienced actors from Kerikeri’s Stage Door Theatre Company who made the daily journey ‘overseas’ to support local whalers, sailors, scoundrels, rascals, townsfolk and Temperance Women.
