We were overwhelmed by the lovely comments and hugs we received in the foyer after the show. Such a fantastic audience on our first night!

Calendar Girls opens on Thursday at The Turner Centre! Have you got your tickets yet?
Here are some photos from last night’s Tech Rehearsal. It’s been hard work, but so much fun too, and we’ve seen a lot of each other… in more ways than one! Now all we need is an audience, and that’s where you come in :
We’re donating $5 from each ticket to the NZ Child Cancer Foundation. And if you’d like to donate a little more to this worthy cause, we’ll have our special calendars available on the night.
We’ve got two tickets to give away for our opening night on THURSDAY 1st AUGUST at The Turner Centre.

While some photos have been taken at private residences, we have used many of the businesses as location for the photos themselves, and we’ve been blogging about each photo shoot on our website. The Final Shoot: We gathered at Jo’s house, the fire was warm, the wine was ready and the piano was waiting for today’s model.
I can’t believe it’s all over. It’s been a lot of work, but such a lot of fun too, with some very brave ladies. I hope we manage to raise some funds for the Stage Door’s chosen charity with our calendar sales.
The calendar is on sale now around Kerikeri. It’s a great way to support both our community and a very worthwhile cause. A donation from the proceeds of the sale of the calendar will go to NZ Child Cancer Foundation, and this is also a great way of celebrating the ladies in our community. Each month is sponsored by a local business and we thank them for their support. Most, but not all, of our models also appear in the Play. The sponsor for this month is Kainui Vineyard
